Our Fees

Our fees for all estate planning advice and documentation (and estate administration) are charged at our standard hourly rate of $280.50 per hour including GST.

As a guide, we often find that taking instructions for, drafting and arranging for signing a set of documents consisting of simple wills (where the estate is left to the surviving spouse, and then on the death of the surviving spouse, to their children), powers of attorneys, powers of guardianship and advance directives for a husband and wife (or de-facto partners) will take approximately two hours, and therefore cost about $561.00.

Taking instructions for, and drafting, wills that involve testamentary trusts, or existing family companies or family trusts, can take some time. Legal fees in these circumstances will often be in excess of one thousand dollars and can be several thousand dollars in some circumstances.
